Demand Responsive Traffic: Data Standards and Strategies for Public Transport

On 27th April 2026 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

In this meet-up, we will analyse potential business models for Demand Responsive Traffic (DRT) and how they are reflected in the data. We will look at the current implementation in Switzerland, where DRT is represented in NeTEx, GTFS Flex, and HRDF.

We will share practical experiences, compare them with approaches from other countries, and discuss the use of DRT in OJP, including real-time information. In addition, we will explore possible next steps towards reservation and booking.

A further focus will be on NeTEx 2.1, where the next generation of DRT information is being defined. We will provide insights into what is currently being studied and the planned future developments.
